Somehow it was already time for our first holiday as a family of four . . . Easter! I have to admit that it might not have been the best prepared for holiday, but we still enjoyed our time together and made the most of it!
We dyed eggs for the Easter bunny the night before, the weather was so nice we decided to do it outside!

John directed the whole process, "Put it there Daddy!"

So proud of his beautiful eggs!

The next morning we got John up and changed so that he could come out and find his Easter eggs. The Easter bunny decided to hide plastic eggs instead of the real ones! ;)

He was so excited to find fun goodies inside the eggs!

Can't get enough of his super cheesy smile!

Shannon slept through all of it, but I had to get a photo of her with her basket!

Then it was time to go to brunch with the Meerpohl's and Sponseller's. I dressed Shannon in a dress that I made for her!

This was a fun game with little popping eggs and bunnies. John loved it!

Really, really loved it!

Sweet baby Shannon

After a delicious brunch we went home for a quick nap and then it was over to my Mom's. We had a yummy dinner and hung out with family, the best way to spend the holiday.

Me and my little guy, love love love . . . even if he was trying to escape my hugs!

It was a very full, very fun day and the first of many first holidays with Shannon here. Celebrating with two kids really is twice as fun!
