Birthday and Graduation celebrations

(okay, so some of my photos are okay, yippee!!)

This past Saturday was a day of celebration for those near and dear to me.  First was Lindsey's daughter, Samantha, first birthday.  Samantha is such a sweet little girl.  She is shy at first and likes to have her Mama near by and then when she lets her guard down she waves and blows kisses and is just fun to be around!  I remember holding her when she was just a few hours old like it was yesterday and now she is a one year old.  How the times does fly!! Johnathan and Sammy have become good friends and get along quite well.  Its fun to watch them interact and play.  We had a very nice time at Sammy's party!

Happy Birthday Sammy!

Next was a Graduation party for our friend Christian, Joe's brother.  He graduated from architecture school and is going to be the next super star and build structures that will have scholars talking for years, well that's the plan at least!  Jeff and I always feel so welcomed and loved by the Hemricks!  They welcome us in with their warm hearts and make us feel like family, they also know how to throw a great party and cook up some of the best food we've ever had!  Their backyard was the perfect place to enjoy time with friends, tell fun stories and laugh and laugh.

Johnathan was hanging out with our friend Jane . . .

It was a great way to spend our Saturday!  We had grand plans of doing something on Sunday, but wound up vege-ing out and being lazy bums, which really isn't a bad way to spend a Sunday at all if you ask me!
