A day at the beach

We had friends in town from Ohio and decided to make it a beach day. We spent 99% of the time in the water . . . . it was just too hot to do anything but enjoy the cool, er, slightly cool but mostly warm Gulf water. Johnathan loves the beach, he crawls right into the waves completely fearless. He doesn't mind the salty water in his eyes or mouth and loves to splash! He would eat all of the sand if we let him, but we try to keep a close eye on that.

After a few hours we just couldn't take the heat anymore so we decided to head back home and enjoy our own little water park in our driveway . . . Johnathan was happy!!
