Visiting Santa (the first time)

The Saturday after Thanksgiving we heard that Santa was going to be at our local Bass Pro shop. We thought it would be a fun way to spend the afternoon and let Johnathan get his photo with Santa. Johnathan was still not feeling well, but we thought he was getting better rather than worse, oh were we wrong!

They had it all decorated for Christmas! It was really fun to see Johnathan take in all the lights!

He wasn't all that enthusiastic really . . .

He looks so sad and skinny, he wasn't keeping food down at all! Poor baby!

So, here we are visiting Santa . . . can you tell how much Johnathan is loving this?

They had a few tables set aside so that the kids could color. Johnathan did like this!

Finally we got some popcorn and that did manage to take the frown off my baby's face!

The next few days were spent cleaning up after Johnathan, calling his doctor day and night and just hugging and cuddling with him as much as possible. He had a horrible stomach bug only made worse by a bad reaction to the medicine that was suppose to help. Finally after a solid week of, well let's not get into details, "sickness" he was better!

Not happy . . .

at all! So happy to say that it's behind us!
