Anywho . . . what did we do in September? Let's find out!
Goooo Buckeyes! While, yes, we are fans no matter what, it's been a rough year to be a Buckeye. The team is not so hot because of some bad decisions made by good players whose positions were not recruited for and well, its tough to watch. It doesn't stop us from proudly wearing our Scarlet and Grey! Yay!

Shannon continues to LOVE baby food and cereal!
Well, we are working on it . . .
We enjoyed a fun morning at the zoo!
We love visiting the zoo!
John and Shannon continue to love on each other and make my heart swell.

We set up Shannon's exersaucer and at first it was a little overwhelming for her with stimulation overload, it's now a favorite toy that she really enjoys!

John was excited to show her all the bells and whistles!

Her face may be blurry, but I think you can tell how much fun she is having!

Shannon learned very quickly how to sit up all by herself, she had a little trial run with the Bumbo seat and was quickly doing it all by herself.

So proud of herself!!

And now without the Bumbo seat . . .
Okay and maybe a little help from Mommy too!
We had a fun afternoon at the park and Shannon tried out the gravel and a swing for the first time!
John went and became a teenager and told me he was "relaxing in his room watching TV"
Shannon showed off by sitting up with her cousin! These girls are just starting to play together and I love it!
Shannon right after a tubby, I just love the expressions she makes, what a ham!
Shannon's first teeth started poking through to say hello and Daddy quickly caught it!
Then there's this masterpiece . . . John drew a picture of a starfish . . . with an extra leg . . . and two shoes. Jeff and I laughed about this for quite some time, let me tell you!

So September sped past us and it seems October is going to as well. Holding on for dear life right now and waiting for life to take a deep breath and slow down a bit, something tells me this is just the beginning! I swear there were times when I would wish the days away and now oh what I would do for a slow hour of time with my family, doing something fun or (dare I even say) doing something for myself?!
I'm going to go all Oprah on you and end with this . . .
Thank you for this crazy, lovely, upside and inside out life! I love it!
