The kids were so super excited for Christmas Eve that night we just had to find something to do, so we baked blueberry muffins! Why not?!

After nap we got dressed and ready to go to Grandma Bert and Papa's for our annual Christmas Eve party!

Our family!

Just the kids

The kids dug right into some gifts!

Bert found these popping cows that blew balls all over the place. John LOVED "getting" Papa!!

John, Shannon and Scarlett! :)

Waiting for everyone to arrive, playing on Daddy's phone.

After a long night of family, fun, good food, and lots of laughs, it was time to head home and get ready for Santa! (see that bruise on Shannon's head, yeah, she head butted a table earlier in the night, typical Shanny, she didn't even cry!)

Bye-bye Woody, we can't wait for you to come back next year!!

Then it was time to crawl into bed so that Santa could come . . . and he did!!!

The kids were up very early Christmas morning! So excited to see what Santa brought!!

Finally the sun started to rise! It was one early morning!!

Instructions, who needs instructions?!

Shannon found her dress for later that day and wanted to wear it right then!

Then it was time for stockings!!

Shannon wanted to try out Mommy's camera

The weather was so nice, it always is for Christmas, so we went outside to try out our new gifts!

I really couldn't possibly love this girl any more than when she looks just like this!

John playing with his new remote control monster trucks! Mommy could drive these so Woody didn't disappoint, but John did say that next year he's going to ask for a monster truck big enough for us to sit in AND drive! Oh boy!

Yes!

After naps and tubbies, we got ready to go to Grandma Lois's for Christmas dinner.

Grandma Doris and Donny Boy

Then it was time for presents, Shannon got an awesome vanity and chair that she loves!

John got a very fun all sports activity table!

Us! :)

Four generations

Then it was time to head home and rest! The kids were exhausted and so were we! We had an awesome two days and we were ready to relax, be lazy at home and enjoy time together!
