Memorial Day Weekend, day two

This day started bright and early! Bob, Andy and Jeff were all going out to fish off of Andy's boat and they wanted to get out there before the fish woke up. :-)  Even though they didn't bring home dinner they had a blast zooming around in Andy's boat . . . Bernie, Victoria, Johnathan and I had a date with the beach!

Aaaaand they're off!!!

After the boys left we took our time getting ready to go to Bahia Honda beach.  We got there before the big crowds and were all set-up and comfy with the umbrella, blanket, beach toys, you know the works!  Johnathan got covered head to tippy toe in 70+ SPF and we were off to the water.  He loved sitting there watching the waves come in and crash at his feet.  The water was nice and warm, so perfect!

We really had a fun time!  We splashed in the water and played with the beach toys.  

Then the boys called, they were home and hungry for lunch.  We went to this neat place off the beaten track that had really great fish.  Andy sure does know all the nooks and cranny's of the keys!  

That night Bernie offered to stay home and watch Johnathan so that the rest of us could go down to Key West for some dinner and bar hopping.  We ate at Turtle Krawls (yum) and then walked up and down Duval street.  It was another late night of a full fun day!!
